Amar Patel
CPA, CFP®
Amar currently manages the tax practice at a Southern California wealth management firm (RIA) with over $900MM in assets under management. He was previously employed at large Los Angeles accounting firms and worked on complex tax engagements involving high-net-worth clients, large business entities, international tax issues, and M&A tax due diligence/structuring. He started his career working at a private investment firm in Chicago, where he honed his research and analysis skills.
Amar grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, and is a passionate Chicago Bulls, Bears, and Cubs fan. He and his wife share a love of travel—having already visited 30 countries (and counting!)—and now call sunny Long Beach, California home, where they continue their adventures with their energetic miniature schnauzer, Coco.

Nathan Urquhart
CPA, CFP®
Nathan currently works as a financial and tax advisor for a firm that services Fortune 500 companies. He previously was a financial advisor and tax accountant to high net-worth individuals. He started his career working at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he worked with the audit team.
Nathan grew up in the Rocky Mountains in Hinton, Alberta, Canada, skiing, snowboarding and riding snowmobiles. His main passion is hockey and sports. He has a young son who is his life and lives in Carlsbad, California.

Rea’s passion for business and numbers sparked at an early age, inspired by watching both her parents build their own businesses from the ground. With a natural talent for mathematics—earning nearly perfect grades—she knew accounting was her calling.
She pursued a Bachelor's in Accountancy and several years excelling in the corporate world, mastering the ins and outs of accounting. Through hands-on experience, she built the expertise and confidence to take the leap into the world of entrepreneurship.
After working abroad, Rea returned home to the Philippines with a bold vision: to launch her own accounting and bookkeeping firm. Armed with knowledge, experience, and an unstoppable drive, she set out to help businesses thrive—just like she had always dreamed. With over 14 years of experience, she has expertly handled accounting and bookkeeping for 100+ clients across a wide range of industries, ensuring financial success and seamless operations for businesses of all sizes.
